Long & Foster® Real Estate Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, today announced it has named Bob Albanese senior regional vice president of the Philadelphia region. Albanese, a long-time veteran of the real estate industry, has more than 27 years of combined experience in residential real estate operations and in the corporate realm of real estate companies. Prior to being named to this position, Albanese served as director of merger and acquisitions for Long & Foster.

Albanese has held key leadership positions with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Prudential Financial and Weichert Realtors. In addition, he has served as a consultant for numerous companies assisting with the development of strategies and campaigns targeted toward expansion and market share growth, recruiting and retaining top talent, analysis of compensation policies and operational efficiencies and successful coaching tactics. He is also a published author and the recipient of numerous awards recognizing his success in sales, management, leadership and company growth.
Albanese holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Phoenix, a Master of Arts degree from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rider University. In addition, he has held numerous volunteer positions with a variety of professional and civic organizations.
